Responsibilities

• Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors
• Ensure accurate import documentations are in place
• Follow up with custom agents to ensure smooth port clearing process
• Maintain supply chain inventory and records
• Create the company’s supply chain strategy
• Analyse data from shipping and delivering processes
• Monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly
• Resolve issues that come up (e.g., bus services, delays in delivery, injuries)
• Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the workplace (e.g., use of trucks, forklifts)
• Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards

Requirements

• HND/BSc in Supply Chain Management or related field
• Over 5 years experience in supply chain management
• Work days include Monday to Saturdays
• Have a background in business or engineering
• Skilled in negotiation and vendor management
