Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality diagnostic images and assist radiologists in image interpretation when needed.
• Supervise and mentor junior radiographers, students, and support staff, providing training and guidance.
• Participate in quality assurance, equipment troubleshooting, and inventory management of imaging supplies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including clinicians and radiologists, to support accurate diagnosis and patient management.
• Maintain accurate records, comply with regulatory standards, ensure patient confidentiality, and uphold laboratory safety practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experienced Senior Radiographer with strong technical expertise in diagnostic imaging and sound professional judgment.
• Excellent knowledge of radiographic techniques, anatomy, pathology, and radiation safety principles.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to produce high-quality images under time constraints.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, colleagues, and medical teams.
• Ability to lead, supervise, and train others while working efficiently under pressure.
• Commitment to patient-centered care, ethical practice, continuous professional development, and quality improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Radiography B.Sc. Radiography or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Full registration with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria RRBN and a valid practicing license.
• Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in diagnostic radiography, with proven expertise in advanced modalities CT, MRI, etc..
