Your Role

You will be the owner of IT, responsible for everything IT related, the focus of the role is Operations & Support. The scope is internal systems, the goal is stability & efficiency and the mindset is “keep running”.

We have a team of over 10 part-time staff working on many different things with primary focus on Power BI, asp.net, .net, flutter, AI, Python etc. We have a bespoke project management system that we use to manage projects, tasks and time, and which require to be improved continuously.

The biggest challenge currently is staff compliance, communication, and testing which makes it very hard to scale the team without risking breaking everything or introducing chaos.

Your Responsibilities

Your main responsibility would be to communicate with the CEO and ensure that you are in control of the challenges, problems and risks and you effectively manage it. Being pro-active in finding solutions to problems is essential and having excellent communication skills is a must to understand CEO needs and expectations and motivate staff to comply.

Your primary goal would be to get a grip on operations and ensure that everything is run more smoothly, improve communication and reliability of the system.

Another very important part is deployment of IT systems that are currently growing and we have too many issues and down time which we need to start measuring and improve the deployment standards to minimize issues and down time.
