Pinheiro LP was founded as Pinheiro and Company in March 1996 by ‘Dr. Oluwakemi Pinheiro, OFR. SAN, FCIArb. FloD, who had previously worked for several years with some of the leading Law Firms in Nigeria. He is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, A Non-Executive Director in National Bank of Nigeria Limited, a member of the Institute of Directors in the United Kingdom.

His memberships also include the International Bar Association and the Nigerian Bar Association. He is also a Fellow and lecturer of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Nigeria), in addition to being a Notary Public of Nigeria since 1997.
