Designation: National Sales ManagerCompanyA renowned PAN Africa distributor of genuine automotive accessories including tyres, spark plugs, filters, bearings, shock absorbers, and lubricants.Role OverviewThe National Sales Manager will lead and manage the complete business for OTR, PSR, LT, and Agricultural tyre categories across Nigeria. The role is accountable for driving revenue, expanding market penetration, managing dealer channels, and strengthening the brand’s position within key industry segments including construction, mining, logistics, and corporate fleets.Key ResponsibilitiesSales LeadershipLead nationwide sales operations for OTR, PSR, LT, and Agricultural tyre segments.Achieve annual sales targets and drive consistent growth across all product categories.Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and profitability.Business DevelopmentAcquire new customers including construction companies, mining operators, logistics fleets, and large corporate accounts.Grow PSR and LT tyre business within multinational companies and high - volume fleet users.Identify new market opportunities, emerging customer needs, and niche segments.Channel & Dealer ManagementManage the dealer network and expand channel partnerships across Nigeria.Strengthen dealer performance through structured engagement, training, and joint promotional activities.Monitor dealer - level sales, inventory, and collections.Brand Promotion & Market EngagementOversee all brand - building and promotional activities for assigned product categories.Plan and execute market activation events, trade meets, product demonstrations, and customer engagement initiatives.Market IntelligenceContinuously monitor competitor products, pricing, strategies, and market trends.Provide strategic insights to management for product positioning and pricing.Customer & Fleet ManagementBuild and maintain strong business relationships with fleet operators, construction companies, and corporate customers.Engage in regular customer visits to ensure satisfaction, resolve issues, and develop long - term partnerships.Key Skills & Competencies12+ years of experience in the tyre industry, preferably in OTR, PSR/LT, or agricultural tyres.Nigeria/Africa market experience highly advantageous.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship - building skills.Expertise in dealer management and fleet account handling.Ability to analyze market data and convert insights into actionable strategies.Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Personality & Leadership TraitsStrategic thinker with strong commercial acumen.Hands - on leader capable of driving field execution.Ability to operate independently in dynamic market conditions.High integrity, resilience, and ownership mindset.
