Fluency in Marshallese and English (spoken and written).

• Previous experience as an interpreter (medical or legal preferred but not required).
• Knowledge of professional interpreting ethics and protocols.
• Strong listening, memory, and communication skills.
• Ability to remain neutral, impartial, and professional.
• Certification or training in interpreting is a plus but not mandatory:
  • CCHI, NBCMI, or community interpreting courses.
