About the Role

As the IT Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the organization's IT infrastructure, maintaining system security, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of hardware, software, and network systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, networks, and other IT infrastructure
• Support user onboarding, system administration, data backup, and information security processes
• Monitor system performance and implement preventive maintenance to ensure business continuity
• Provide technical support to employees and resolve IT-related issues promptly
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve IT processes and ensure compliance with security standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• 2 - 3 years' experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software installation, networking, cybersecurity, and data backup procedures
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
• Professional certifications such as CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, or related IT certifications are an added advantage
