  • Expertini The Factory Manager is responsible for the development, and efficient management of TRT Manufacturing’s Benin site. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational management to ensure the successful execution of production activities, capability building, and the embedding of a high-performing culture. Reporting to the General Manager, the Factory Manager will be responsible for driving operational excellence, adhering to safety and quality standards, and ensuring financial and performance targets are met.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop a skilled and diverse workforce while implementing training programs to foster continuous improvement.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to align teams with company values, objectives, and operational standards.
  • Develop and implement standardized operational processes, ensuring adherence to production plans, targets, and quality control standards.
  • Manage daily production schedules, address challenges proactively, and implement corrective actions to maintain efficiency and compliance.
  • Deliver cost-effective production plans while exceeding client expectations and maintaining regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure equipment reliability through effective maintenance schedules, monitoring Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and minimizing unplanned downtime and costs.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy, adhere to GMP housekeeping standards, and implement efficient inventory control systems to support production needs.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost control, financial performance, and KPI monitoring while identifying and rectifying waste.
  • Execute operational strategies that drive continuous improvement, enhance plant processes, and optimize production costs.
  • Implement a risk management framework to identify and mitigate risks while ensuring full compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with authorities, suppliers, clients, and the community, monitoring supplier performance and fostering effective communication across teams.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on capability development.
  • Financial acumen with a focus on cost control and efficiency.
