Role Description

The DevOps Engineer role at Conclase is a contract, on-site position based in Lagos. The individual in this role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure provisioning, and ensuring reliable deployment processes across development and production environments. Day-to-day activities include managing Linux-based systems, monitoring application performance, troubleshooting infrastructure and deployment issues, and collaborating with software development teams to improve release cycles. The DevOps Engineer will also contribute to operational best practices, documentation, and security hardening of systems and services.

Qualifications

• Manage and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
• Administer GitHub repositories, branching strategies, and access controls.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure Pipelines.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep).
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and AKS.
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and security.
• Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support high-availability environments.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to improve delivery and operational efficiency.
• Banking or fintech experience is a must.
• Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration tools and pipelines to support frequent, reliable releases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related security and networking concepts.
• Ability to write clear technical documentation and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset, with openness to continuous learning and improvement.
