Role Overview

Our Client is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to protect our fintech infrastructure, applications, and financial systems from cyber threats. Key Responsibilities

Security Architecture & Infrastructure Protection

• Design and implement security architecture for fintech applications, cloud environments, and payment systems.
• Secure APIs, databases, and financial transaction platforms.
• Implement network security controls including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.

Threat Monitoring & Incident Response

• Monitor systems for security threats and suspicious activities.
• Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement remediation measures.

Application & Platform Security

• Perform security testing, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
• Work with development teams to integrate secure coding practices.
• Implement DevSecOps practices within the software development lifecycle.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and financial regulatory frameworks.
• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies and procedures.

Security Tools & Technologies

• Implement and manage security tools such as SIEM, endpoint protection, and identity access management solutions.
• Manage encryption protocols and secure authentication mechanisms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–6 years experience in cybersecurity, preferably within fintech, banking, or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of network security, cloud security, and application security.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP security frameworks.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management tools.
