Operate professional video cameras and equipment to film reports, news segments on location or in the studio and other content types.

• Collaborate with reporters and producers to understand story requirements and determine the best camera angles and lighting setups.

• Capture B-roll footage and interviews as needed for news packages.

• Travel to various locations, sometimes at short notice and in adverse conditions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a cameraman in a news or broadcast environment or content creation.
• Proficiency in operating DSLR, ENG, or professional broadcast cameras.
• Understanding of lighting, sound, and shot composition.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and visual storytelling ability. Good knowledge of video editing software e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro
• Physical stamina to carry heavy equipment and work long hours on location.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
