Responsibilities

  • Managing the relationship with our landlords and deal with rental related issues
  • Organising office meetings and managing delivery of set actions in a timely manner
  • Managing the relationship with Insurance brokers for company goods
  • Liaising weekly with the MD to ensure any actions are addressed on the PO’s ( in the absence of the office manager)
  • Responsible for all office and flat equipment, payments, repair
  • Initiating and Directing Customer facing communication to ensure orders are expedited as swiftly and smoothly as possible ( with direction from OfficeManager and in his absence)
  • Closely Monitoring the record of all communication with OEM and IOC in respect of orders ( with direction from Office Manager and in his absence)
  • Regular discussions with accountant and establishing targets and deadlines for their work ensuring this is streamlined and relevant.
  • Management oversight of the company vehicles
  • Checking and signing off quotes completed by the expediters ( with direction from Office Manager and in his absence)
  • Working closely with expediting and logistics team on local and long distance deliveries.
  • Ensuring the asset register is kept up to date by the Accountants, Supporting Accounts team with FIRS and LIRS audits
  • 1-2-1 supervision of a number of staff
  • Manage ISO audits and Documentation
  • Reporting to The training and Gem Medical Development, The DoCD and MD

Requirement

  • HND / BSc Degree in Supply chain management or related field.
  • 5+ years of work experience in the same or similar job role.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking skills; advanced problem-solving skills;
  • Proficient with Microsoft office; multi-tasking abilities;
  • Interpersonal skills; communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Organisation skills; time-management skills;
  • Investigative skills; team work; integrity; honesty
