Job description Your Mission Source and turn raw customer insight into scroll-stopping Meta ads that meet—or beat—our NC-ROAS and retention targets before a single dollar hits the ad account. You’ll mine the voice of the customer, craft high-conversion concepts, and run an AI-powered workflow that keeps fresh creative shipping and old winners refreshed.
Core Responsibilities
What You Own What “Great” Looks Like
- DTC Growth Fundamentals Mastery
- Applies deep performance-marketing theory to every brief—e.g. customer-awareness ladder, market-sophistication levels, new-mechanism framing, identity & tribe marketing, price-elasticity tests, offer stacking, risk-reversal hooks, urgency/scarcity triggers, AOV boosters, and persuasive frameworks (PAS, 4 Ps, ACCA).
- Spots positioning gaps others miss and crystallises them into clear “why buy now” angles.
- Audience & Insight Research Engine
- Runs a repeatable insight loop that taps multiple source types: post-purchase surveys, customer-service logs, product reviews, UGC & ad comments, social threads (Reddit/TikTok/Facebook groups), sales-call transcripts, Amazon listings, competitor creatives, industry reports, and cultural trends.
- Distils findings into messaging hierarchies, customer avatars, and actionable creative briefs that directly inform hooks, angles, and offers.
- Concept Engine
- Ship 5–10 validated ad concepts per brand, per week—each with hook, angle, asset list, and success metric.
- Copy & Script Craft
- Write punchy headlines, primary text, and video scripts that beat control CTR/CAC on ≥ 30 % of tests.
- Creator & Asset Production
- Source, brief, and manage creators/designers so assets land on time and on spec; close feedback loops in < 48 hrs.
- AI-First Workflow Builder
- Deploy LLM prompts & internal Gen-AI tools to tag winners, auto-draft briefs, and cut concept-to-launch time by ≥ 25 %.
- Test Roadmap & Reporting
- Maintain a rolling 4-week test backlog; log hypotheses, results, and next steps in a single Google-Sheet dashboard.
Must-Have Skill Set
- 5 + yrs profitably driving growth for DTC brands (≥ $50 k/mo spend) with a creative-led, funnel-first approach.
- Mastery of performance-marketing fundamentals (see #1 above).
- Portfolio of ads that materially lowered CAC—plus a clear breakdown of why they worked.
- Relentless VOC miner: comments, UGC, surveys, customer calls, competitor ads.
- Advanced ChatGPT / Gen-AI prompting to 10× concept volume and ideation speed.
- Fluent in growth math: NC-ROAS, MER, cohort LTV.
- Google Sheets power-user; can own a multi-brand performance tracker.
- Clear, concise English—written and spoken.
