Position Summary

The Senior/Lead Project Engineer/Project Coordinator is responsible for providing technical leadership, project planning, execution oversight, and coordination across multidisciplinary project teams. The role ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards and company procedures. Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Coordination

Lead the development of project execution plans, schedules, work breakdown structures, and resource plans. Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution. Organize and participate in project review meetings, ensuring timely resolution of design and construction issues. Track progress against plans, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions. Provide senior-level technical input and guidance on all engineering deliverables, ensuring compliance with industry codes and project requirements.

• Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations.

• Liaise with construction supervisors, site teams, and contractors to address technical queries and site changes.

• Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and KPIs to project management and clients.
• Support cost control, budget tracking, and change management processes.
• Prepare technical reports, meeting minutes, and project documentation.

• Promote a strong safety culture among project teams and contractors.

Job Requirement

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical, or related discipline).
• Minimum of 12 years experience in project engineering, project coordination, and/or construction supervision within oil & gas sector.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and managing complex projects from design to commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of engineering standards, project management methodologies, and construction practices.
• Proficient in project scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and engineering software relevant to specialization.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
