Head of OperationsBased: Lagos, NigeriaSalary: N17,000,000 per year + benefitsWe are looking for an experienced and principled Operations Manager to lead our team and drive our service delivery. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for managing the provision of high - quality, secure solutions to our customers. The ideal candidate will be a leader who embodies our core values and is committed to achieving financial targets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering outstanding customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Oversight: Oversee all day - to - day security operations, including the strategic scheduling, deployment, and shift management of security personnel across multiple client sites to ensure optimal coverage and service delivery.Team Leadership & Development: Lead, manage, and motivate a diverse team of security supervisors and officers. This includes setting clear performance objectives, conducting regular performance reviews, and identifying training needs to foster continuous professional development.Logistics & Resource Management: Manage all operational logistics, including the allocation and maintenance of vehicles, uniforms, and security equipment, to ensure all personnel are fully equipped to perform their duties effectively.Client Relationship Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met and customer satisfaction remains high. This involves conducting regular site visits and performance assessmentsHealth & Safety Compliance: Champion a robust health and safety culture to ensure the well - being of all staff. This includes implementing and enforcing safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring all operations comply with company policies and relevant legislation.Performance & Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to maintain the highest standards of service. This also involves managing incident reports, investigating operational issues, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Employee Relations: Foster a positive and professional work environment by managing employee relations and ensuring the fair and consistent application of company policies and disciplinary procedures.Minimum RequirementsQualifications:A B.Com degree or an equivalent qualification is an advantage.Must be a registered Security Service ProviderExperience:A minimum of 4 - 8 years of experience in a general leadership role.Demonstrable experience in multi - site management.Skills and Attributes:Exceptional leadership and people management skills.Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict management abilities.Customer - centric thinking with a talent for collaboration and relationship building.A strategic and innovative mindset with a keen awareness of the market environment.
